The pigeons are calm and do not possess much of an aggression and hence are commonly found in most places including the big cities, towns, etc. Although they are small
in size and calm in nature, sometimes they can be the reason for creating a lot of mess in and around the houses and particularly the rooftops. Most people usually manage the pigeons as pets. You
may keep pigeons as your own pets or somebody else in your locality does. However, for the proper management of pigeons you must be aware of the pigeon control methods available.
The
pigeon plays a significant role to every household where sometimes it flourishes as a pet at one household while spreading unhygienic germs in the form of excretory wastes at some other
households. These germs cause numerous epidemics like histoplasmosis", "encephalitis", "salmonella", "meningitis", "toxoplasmosis" and many more such diseases.
Pigeons are mostly friendly and so many people keep them commonly as their pets. They train them to live in their own way, giving them proper food and shelter so that they may not move around
anywhere and everywhere. The proper training grounds may prevent unnecessary littering around the rooftops or any other places or even moving to foreign territories.
Live traps: Pigeons can be controlled by using live traps. Live traps are the cheapest means of controlling pigeons. It is also known as 'Pigeon Motels' in some places. It is a netted cage,
rectangular in shape. Pigeons can be captured in there by using proper bait inside it. Once the pigeon falls for it, the doors can be closed and the pigeons are captured.
Bird nets: the use of bird nets is an age-old process that works out even well as a pigeon control process. The bird nets are mostly made of stainless steel wire that may be used as a fencing cover
to prevent the pigeons from their typical roosting sites. The
bird nets are quite expensive these days but are efficient
in driving out the pigeons and thus aiding in the pigeon control process.
Bird spikes:
the bird spikes are also efficient in pigeon controls with steel spikes. The spikes are usually of stainless steel materials of
dimensions of about 20 gauges with the steel material being installed with adhesives throughout the surface.

Greetings!!! MY FIRST POST HERE!!!
So what do you guys
think about pigeon extermination? Do you really consider that this is something so necessary these days? I mean... aren't
there other possible more humanely methods that might be applied, use and therefore implemented for future use, as an alternative to nowadays repellents and all the pigeon killing methods. If you
are from United States you probably know that the majority of people out there already know that there are plenty of states where its considered and really is illegal to do something violent to
pigeons like killing them. However, people still don't like what pigeons do, and mostly all the real problems come from the smell and from the dirt that accumulates near the places where these
birds roost and nest.
There are plrenty of things that aren't basically told, especially these days on the internet and we are talking mainly here about methods that could optimize the whole
pigeon control thing and make it a little bit less agressive. Everything that happens these days occurs just because there are people that
have something to say. Internet has become a great medium to blog about things that others don't accept to be published in huge newspapers and this is something extremely cool in our opinion. There
is no censorship on the internet and because overblog is such a great blogging platform we decided that it's time to move on and start doing things at another level.
What Should People Pay Attention to...
We decided to start blogging about pigeon extermination because there are people that claim that no other approaches towards the maintenance of pigeons problem exists and that people are too
overwhelmed by some issues that are not performing as they should. For example we had the possibility to stumble a lot of people that always claimed that most of the methods they used in the past
that had to keep away at least for a few days pigeons didn't simply work. Well this is simply enough, because when you ask them about pigeon spikes and falconry they start to ask you what does this
mean and what falconry is all about. Not always
pigeon repelllents are the best way to solve your bird
invasion issue.
There is no time to
discuss here all the non violent methods of pigeon eradication. However, starting with this post and even in our future posts we are going to insist on many different
less agressive techniques and opportunities to get rid of pigeons and make them stay away from your house, from your place and from many different spots where you might consider and improper place
to run your current activities. Don't just stand there and wait for you government to take decisions regarding the laws referring to the right of flying flocks and fellows. You have to start
applying something on your own otherwise you are doomed to see how innocent pigeons are being murdered and hunted down each and every day. This is a big problem and we decided that on this blog we
shall make something that could keep people away from the obscure though of doing something bad to these birds.
So, with that being said I would like to thank everyone for visiting my blog. This is our post, the first one, but the beginning of a whole series of articles, thoughts, ideas, ramblings and posts
that we are going to share with the rest of the world in the near future just because we feel that something should be done from time to time and if we humans don't take the necessary decisions in
order to change something no one is going to help. We create our own future even when it comes to dealing with pigeons and making them live a happier life.
Happy End
This is what we wanted to communicate to you all those that have at least five minutes per day to read this blog. Thank you all folks!
Sincerely,
Smithy
